Christmas Quilt Show 2010

A Guild Challenge in 2005 was
"What Christmas is to you."
Being originally from Baltimore,
and missing home,
I made this Baltimore Album.
It was my first ever Challenge entry,
and I won the Best Workmanship Award.

Here is a close-up of the folded flower bud.
This was hand appliqued and machine quilted by me.
It is 30-inches square.

Have a great Monday!

That is a beautiful quilt- you deserved a prize. Haven't taken any Christmas quilts out of storage yet- I am usually behind. No snow here yet but they have had it on both sides of the state. Temp has been good- suppose one of these days we will get it. We put up our outside Christmas lights today.
