"It's been a long time comin'"

if you're still with me...

A teaching commitment in August is helping (forcing) me get back on track.
The applique sample block above will be the class.
(It still needs a few more elements.)
And here are the batiks from which to make kits for each attendee.
These are not mine... oh, no!
They belong to my good friend Denise!

We will be making kits for the workshop this weekend.

A few weeks ago,
I made and entered this 32"x40" wall hanging
in a message board challenge and won 2nd place.  The prize?
A $100 gift certificate to Martha's Quilting Corner.
Our Winston... such a handsome guy.

And my kitchen???
Better known as, "The Bane of My Existence."
We will probably redo the tile backsplash...
for the third time.
I just can't go there right now!

Have a great Friday, and I'll be in touch!

That class should be fun with all those pretty fabrics. Winston seems very proud of the banner too. Great going!

How beautiful! Winston looks very wise! By the way, if you come to San Fran is late Sept. there is usually less fog and it's warmer. You should have a fabulous time!
